A Ghanaian footballer Salifu Yassana Okocha, who features for Nigerien side, AS Fan, is reported dead in Niger.
The former Nania FC player died instantly after diving into a pool while he was with his team-mates.
Okocha, native of Sandema, was a member of the Nania FC side that won the MTN FA Cup in 2011 at the expense of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The deceased also featured for Wa All Stars and Tamale Utrecht Academy.
